CoolHouse Band

CoolHouse is a love project brought to you by Dolly Ramierz & Jean-Jacques (J.J.) Schoch, who have a huge passion for cool, fun music. 

While  they are the heartbeat of a community of great American music, Dolly and JJ are more than music partners as well. They are soulmates, friends, and lovers. They met during their years making music sessions around the L.A. scene.

They represent the strength of today’s American experience as they journey down the highway of a musical landscape that is scenic and soulful. If you travel with them you’ll hear classic Philadelphia soul music, Chicago rhythm & blues, Memphis rock n roll, Texas country, and Appalachian folk music.

Dolly is a singer-songwriter who grew up with a love for the music that surrounded her. She naturally leaned toward the music of Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris and Mavis Staples. She grew into a vocal artist who can reach down deep inside her soul and come up with an original style that echoes Janis Joplin & Tina Turner.

JJ Schoch is a multi-talented musical composer who grew up in the Washington D.C. area performing Jazz, bluegrass, and classical music. He is a skilled composer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. His deepest musical love begins with east coast soul music he was raised with, but his creative explorations find him easily moving through a variety of genres.

Together Dolly Ramirez & JJ Schoch have built CoolHouse, a unique musical congregation that is more than the sum of their parts. They are a way of life in Americana roots music who bring their fans and friends to the dance of the celebration of life today.
